These items will likely be sold separately. The camera mounts atop the Sony PSP via USB connection slot. It is a 1.3 megapixel camera, meaning it takes photographs with a resolution of 960 x 1280 (5” x 7” printed), similar to cameras found in newer cellular phones. The camera will also be able to capture 15-second video clips and save them in the VIDEO tab in the PSP navigation bar. The PSP camera requires a firmware of 3.00 or higher, as the CAMERA feature is only present in 3.00 or higher. To take photographs or videos, users must select CAMERA under PHOTO. This activates the camera and allows the user to take photos or video clips. Once taken, the photo or video will then be saved to the user’s memory stick. | | Sony is racist? | | Some may consider this old news whereas others may raise an eyebrow and mumble “what…?” from their lips, having never seen it before. Sony is directing their advertisements to be unique and different, which they certainly are… but did I mention racist as well?In July of 2006, Sony abruptly pulled a new Playstation Portable Ad in Holland for complaints of its contents being extremely racist and offensive. The Dutch are no strangers to weird and obscene things, but they simply did not tolerate this campaign. The picture shown is the actual billboard for the PSP ad with a white woman palming the face of a black counterpart, representing the PSP White which is coming.
Although the new ceramic-white PSP looks amazing, and should be a sharp contrast (to say the least) to the standard black gaming device; it may have hurt the company’s struggling reputation. Between faulty laptop batteries, backorders on the Playstation 3 in Europe, sagging sales in tube televisions, not to mention stiff competition, indifferent investors, stock which hasn't seen a steady climb above $50 since 2002 and now an apparent targeted racial attack… things haven't exactly been going their way.

Sony's PSP Brings the Power of the PlayStation 2 to the Palm of Your Hand
Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. has announced the product specifications for the handheld video game system, PlayStation Portable (PSP), three-dimensional-CG games incorporating high-quality, full-motion video similar to PlayStation 2 can be played anytime, anywhere with PSP. PSP is scheduled to be launched in Japan in the end of 2004, followed by the North American and European launches in the spring of 2005.
PSP comes in a black color, with a 16:9 widescreen TFT LCD centered in a sleek ergonomic design with a high-quality finish that fits comfortably in the hands. The dimensions are 170mm x 74mm x 23mm with a weight of 260g. PSP features a high-quality TFT LCD that displays full color (16.77 million colors) on a 480 x 272 pixel high-resolution screen.
